God on the Rocks with River Jordan

Across The Margin introduces you to a new podcast, one that allows listeners to revel in the deep passions of others…

God on the Rocks is a podcast hosted by River Jordan (a friend of ATM – bio below!). In it, she invites listeners to journey to the city by the bay because “your passion called you here. Whatever that passion may be. That thing you love. And you wander out into the streets searching for a place to pull up a stool, order a drink, chat with the bartender about all things divine. Welcome to God On The Rocks. Serving up great drinks and soulful conversations since time began.”

Episode 1 — The Kiss of Ancient Beings: Michael Shields is an editor, writer, producer, and arborist hailing from Brooklyn, New York. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Arts and Culture webzine Across The Margin and is the host of Across The Margin : The Podcast as well as one of the hosts of the film and television podcast Welcome To The Party Pal (both part of the Osiris Media podcast network). As an arborist he has worked in the field of Arboriculture in a variety of capacities for over 25 years.

Episode 2 — Searching For Shakespeare: Claire Fullerton is an artist with experience in broadcasting, the music industry, ballet, the written word, and acting. She is the author of four traditionally published novels, a contributor to various anthologies and magazines, is currently studying Shakespeare for the stage and was just accepted at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London for a place in their international acting program. 

 

River Jordan is the author of four novels and three works of creative non-fiction. She holds an MFA from Seattle Pacific University and her work has been featured in Publishers Weekly, Booklist, NPR’s Book Talk, the Southern Literary Review, and Radix Magazine among others. When not working on her new novel, A Muddy Grace she can be found bartending at, God on the Rocks, a virtual blues and jazz bar located in the City by the Bay where she has soulful conversations great humans talking about the things they love.
