A pairing of highly affecting poems, “Petrified, I am” and “Jesuits on Fair Mountain Circle”…..
Petrified, am I
One never thinks of the clean up crew
when littering their lives
But pushing a broom around
after slobs like you…
Drugs are terrifying.
It’s not the being high,
it’s being high and then getting it all right.
Jesuits on Fair Mount Circle
Jesuits on Fair Mount circle,
had a strangle hold on the game,
but I broke * through.
In the Atlas room,
with two fingers strangling a balloon,
bird-dogging a Masters from a saloon.
