Four Speeches

by: Frederick Foote

A work of fiction that acts as a warning, urging one to be mindful of just how easily the United States could slip into dark, shuddersome, and increasingly divided, days. The four speeches that changed everything…

Speech One, October 18th, 2018: Doctor Bartholomew H. Hudnell, PhD address to the Joint National Baptist and Evangelical Convention

“My fellow Christians, I concur in your preferment of Faith over Reason as an approach to solving political and spiritual problems. Your emphasis on Faith is in line with my developing religious views. Moreover, I can assure you that I’m serious about implementing holy and righteous laws and rules.

First, and foremost, I empathize with your outrage and disgust at the degree to which religious oppression is enshrined in the currently untenable laws of the land. When elected to the United States Senate I will advance and protect the freedoms of religious organizations to not serve those individuals and groups that would represent a violation of their religious beliefs. I will defend the right of a religious organization to not provide services that would be a violation of its religious principles.

A few have questioned my commitment to this ideology. However, let me give you several examples of how deep-seated and common sense my convictions are.

First, no Christian should ever be convicted of any crime by any judge or jury that is not one-hundred percent Christian. Also, I believe that a jury of one’s peers is denomination specific. Baptists should be tried by Baptists, and a Methodist defendant should have a Methodist judge and jury.

Second, I believe that marriage is only legal in God’s and the state’s eyes when it is between members of the same religious community. Marriages between people of different religious denominations sow the seeds of destruction for both religions and individuals. I endorse the rights of faiths to restrict marriages between racial and ethnic groups within that religious organization.

Third, of course, marriage is only possible between a man and a woman, and when elected I will require premarital genetic testing to ensure that each coupling is between a biologically correct male and female.

Fourth, I believe it is in the public interest to publicly fund religious-based schools to further the moral development of the young and forestall the dangerous, precipitous decline in ethical behaviors.

Fifth, for me, first and foremost, this is a Christian Nation, and our policies, practices, and laws should reflect this obvious truth.

Finally, I have been accused of being a secularist. I do not deny the truth of these accusations. However, Jesus Christ has opened my eyes to the oppression of the born again true believers. I ask that you look beyond labels and see that my positions are religiously rational, faith-based, and offer the best opportunity for a fair and just Christian society.”

Speech Two, October 18th, 2018: Reverend Amish Coglin address to the Joint National Baptist and Evangelical Convention

“I’m delighted to see Doctor Hudnell champion the causes of the righteous. I’m pleased to find him advocating steps towards our eventual liberation.

I do not question his heart or his commitment. However, I have a different perspective I’ll share with you.

In the majority of the United States, white deaths outnumber white births. The message is clear that we are in declining numbers. Our future’s written on the retreating tide of our population.

Already, Hawaii, California, New Mexico, Texas and the District of Columbia are predominantly non-white. Soon Nevada, Maryland, Arizona, Florida and New Jersey will shift into the non-white column.

Non-white babies are the majority of babies born in this country.

These are trends that we cannot stop or even hope to slow for the most part.

Take a deep breath. Exhale. Now, do it again. I’m preparing you for the reality of our times. We have no future as white Christians in the United States of America. Let me say that again. We have no future as white Christians in the United States of America.

Remember Proverbs 13:20: “He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

Many of us are in denial. We believe that we’re the heart of this nation and that we’ll always be the dominant religious, moral, and cultural force in this the land of our birth.

However, the trends I have cited cry out otherwise. If you’re honest and believe in Jesus Christ, you’ll pull the scales from your eyes and see not the things lost but the Paradise to be gained.

Just as the Israelis have claimed their homeland and have prospered there, we shall do the same.

Our shared struggle is to not contend with and be drowned by the non-white cultures and the babble of non-believers that will eventually decimate this nation.

Recall, 2 Thessalonians 3:6: “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.”

Our holy mission is to create that Paradise on earth that’ll nurture promote, preserve, and advance the white Christian way of life.

To do this, we must create a sovereign white Christian nation and protect its borders as fiercely as the Israelis protect their homeland.

God made a promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that the Israelites would occupy the land of Israel forever and it is our Manifest Destiny to make the same sacrifices in blood, bodies, and treasure that will be required to create and defend our Christian nation.

There are many competing visions for the white Christian future, but any view that doesn’t acknowledge our demographic realities is doomed to failure.

God gave us minds for thinking and wills to act and Faith to sustain us in our struggles. I do not ask you to accept my reasoning. I do not ask for your adulation or applause. What I humbly request of you is that you apply your mind, heart, body, and soul to understanding and addressing the reality of our situation in the land of the colored, the mongrel, and the infidel.

I leave you with 2 Corinthians 6:14-18: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

May Jesus bless you. Thank you.

Speech Three, March 17th, 2021: Kabel Palmyra’s, forty-sixth president of the United States of America, speech to the nation before a joint session of Congress

“Good morning my fellow Americans. And, it is a good morning because the forces of resistance and progress have routed the initiators of revitalized racism, turned back a movement of sexual oppression, defeated a champion of inequality, an enemy of the poor, the working and the middle classes and a foul fount of vicious lies and personal attacks. [Pause for applause.] Congress is solidly in progressive hands, and the greedy, self-serving politicians are in hiding or in custody. [Pause for applause.]

As the first woman president, [Pause for applause.] the first president of Filipino, black, and Chinese heritage [Pause for applause.] I’m emblematic of that change. [Pause for applause.]

However, our celebration will be short because our work is compelling and imperative. As you well know, there is a White Christian Terrorist Movement that seeks to divide the nation, seize land from the United States and declare itself a new white Christian enclave. These religious extremists seek a civil war to create a theocracy within the borders of this country. This shall not come to pass. We know that ‘a house divided against itself cannot stand.’ And this nation will stand. We will not be divided. The United States shall prevail. [Pause for extended applause.]

Even as we speak federal and state law enforcement are arresting thousands of supporters of the insurrectionist leader, Reverend Amish Coglin. Reverend Coglin has unleashed a reign of terror that would be the pride of the IRA or Nazi Germany. He has led his followers to bomb train stations and airports and even schools and churches aren’t safe from his atrocities.

I pledge to you that soon we will capture or eliminate the radical Reverend of murder and massacre. Reverend, your time is at hand. [Pause for applause.]

Again, it is a good day. We have captured the three main leaders of the terrorist Montana Freedom Forces, [Pause for applause.] Darrel Jahns, Rachel Dobbins, and Frederick Simmons were taken into custody last night.  [Pause for extended applause.] Under the Sedition Act of 2021, these traitors will be tried in a military court within thirty days in a trial not to exceed seventy-two hours. If found not guilty they will be released to Religious Conversion Camps. If found guilty, they will be executed within twenty-four hours of their judgment.

As your president, my great desire is to promise you peace, but as long as religious extremists commit acts of terrorism, I can only guarantee our unrelenting pursuit and elimination of these terrorists and their supporters. My fellow Americans, I promise you quick and certain justice. [Pause for extended applause.]

Thank you, and with your support one day we will have both peace and justice. [Extended applause.]”

Speech Four, April 27th, 2022: Senator Monroe Jackson (D) of Georgia addressing a joint session of Congress

“Members of Congress and their guests, and to all those listening to and watching this event through the media I thank you for the opportunity to give these brief remarks. My party is in control of Congress and the presidency. We campaigned on a promise to return to respect, justice, and freedom for all. To date, we have failed to keep this promise or show much interest in living up to our words. [Booing and hissing.] The Republican Party has been outlawed. Our traditional opposition was declared a terrorist organization, and if it exists at all, it does so in remote parts of Montana and Idaho.

Since we have taken control, we have arrested over thirteen thousand under the Sedition Act of 2021 and have executed over four thousand.

Several more thousand alleged extremists have been “disappeared” and our government can or will not explain these vanishings. [Booing and hissing.] We have classified over twelve thousand religious organizations as terrorist organizations. There have been over six thousand documented attacks on religious sites or individuals. We have sentenced over two million to indefinite stays in Religious Conversion Camps. Over seven hundred and fifty thousand religious citizens, mostly white Christians, have immigrated to Canada, and other countries. In their new homes, some of these expatriates have funded the religious extremist in this country. Our administration is moving aggressively to end these practices, as we should.

In the 1860’s we fought a Civil War, and we failed to address the racism and labor exploitation that contributed to that war. That legacy has added in no small extent to our current civil conflict. Racism has been and continues to be a critical factor in the rise of the right.

We, the United States, will win this conflict and soon, but I fear that we will still fail to address the underlying issues of racism, labor exploitation, and murderous violence, that will bring us back to our battlefields again and again until we are no more. [Slight pause for applause.]

Having a woman president does not eliminate the issues of human trafficking, domestic abuse, the need for affordable child care, and income inequality that still plague women. [Pause for a murmur of applause.]

Our past shows that electing a person of color does not address our history of racism and the burdens of oppression and discrimination that black, brown, and red people still suffer. [Pause for a smattering of applause.]

I propose that we turn our considerable energies and remarkable talents to reconciliation [Extended booing and hissing.]  and healing and [Extended booing and hissing.] that we face our distant and current history unflinchingly and take the challenging steps necessary to move forward as a nation. Until we recognize, accept, and make amends for our racist past we will be at an endless war with ourselves.

I thank you for your time and patience. [Extended booing and hissing.]

Wow, this story had a surprising twist that caused me to reflect on where we’re heading as a nation. Very interesting and imaginative.
